ADENOCARCINOMA OF THE COLON
|
The colon and rectum account for more new cases of cancer each year than any other site, exclusive of the lung. The incidence increases with age and peaks at 60-75. Characteristics - melena, diarrhea, rectal mass, iron deficiency anemia. Usual course - progressive.
